Jay-Z and Will Smith are in the news again and this time they are giving back by investing in a start up company called Landis Technologies . This investment will help low income renters build credit until they can buy a place of their own. The start up company is said to raise $165 million from a group of investors including Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and Will Smith’s Dreamers VC, plus Sequoia Capital.
It is said that Landis Technologies purpose is to work with families that can’t afford to buy home’s on their own. Landis Technologies purchases home’s and rent’s the homes to the renter until they can qualify for a mortgage.
What a way to start off the new year off for Will Smith and Jay -Z, wonder what else will 2022 bring for the both of them.
